ProLedger (“ProLedger”, “we”, “us”) provides payroll, bookkeeping, GST, statutory compliance, taxation, and advisory services to businesses in India. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and how we use, store, and protect it.

The contact form — name, company name, email, phone number, the service you’re asking about, and your message.
The booking / consultation scheduler — name, email, phone number, company name, the department or service area, your chosen appointment slot, and any notes you add.
The website chatbot — the service you’re interested in, your name, email, and phone number, if you choose to share them.

We do not collect financial account numbers, passwords, government ID numbers, or other sensitive personal data through the website. Any such information is exchanged only after we begin a formal client engagement, through secure channels agreed with you directly.

We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies on this site. The only cookies set are strictly necessary session cookies used to keep administrators signed in to the content-management area.

How we use your information

To respond to inquiries and answer questions about our services.
To schedule, confirm, and manage consultations and appointments.
To send booking confirmations and related account or engagement communications.
To improve our services and understand which services visitors are interested in.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for marketing purposes.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers that help us run this website and our booking system, specifically:

Supabase, our database, authentication, and file-storage provider, which stores form submissions, bookings, and site content on our behalf.
Resend, our transactional email provider, used to send booking confirmation emails once you submit an appointment.
Google Maps, used to embed office location maps on our Contact page.

These providers process data under their own privacy and security terms and only to deliver the service described above — none of them may use your information for their own marketing.

How long we keep your information

We retain contact-form and chatbot inquiries and appointment records for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, deliver the service you booked, and meet our own record-keeping and statutory obligations as an accounting and compliance firm. You can ask us to delete information that isn’t required to be kept for legal or regulatory reasons at any time.

Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and other applicable law, you can ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can withdraw consent for us to contact you.
